Plans changed today when we stepped outside at 8:30 am and could already feel the immense heat. Weather forecast was calling for near 40 degree weather and poor air quality so we opted for an indoors, air-conditioned museum— the National Museum of China! The museum is huge! It has 5 floors and many exhibits but with little time, we only managed to make it through a relatively small portion, which was mostly on the history of China. It was very cool! I didn't take many photos but here are a few.

Short but very informative. Love the photos and knowing that you are not wasting one minute and taking advantage of the time you have to explore and experience all you can.
