Today we made it out to the Great Wall! Very beautiful, very quiet, but very hot!
Heidi was too scared to take the shortcut on the sides.
The stairs got crazy steep!!
Happy to have a cable car take us back down. By now it was noon, the sun was hot, and we were very tired.
I can only imagine what it must have felt for you to walk on a structure built between the 14th and 17th century AD...Iam certain that you will never be able to express in words the magnamity of that feeling. You are so fortunate to have had this experience. On another thought. I would also have been scared to go on those stairs let alone return in a cable car.. Koodo to you both.
